Find Technology Levels

Level 1 hearing devices are geared for hearing basically in just quiet.  They amplify and control the main speech frequencies only. They are great for situations at home for instance.

People don’t normally spend all their time in just quiet, but some may still consider themselves to live a fairly calm lifestyle. If you still don’t have high expectations for hearing in noise but are somewhat active, then level 2 is the level for you.

Level 3 hearing devices are faster and more effective for hearing in noise. The computer chip is faster at detecting and recognizing speech.  If you have expectations for better hearing in noisier environments, then you want to consider at least a level 3.

Level 4 devices are the premier hearing technology from the world’s largest and most advanced lab.  They contain all the features for hearing your best in any situation, especially noise.  You can transition from one environment to another automatically, with less chance of wanting to adjust a volume control or setting.  The chips are incredibly fast and work the hardest at recognizing and clarifying speech.
